The first step in considering whether you have a vocation to be a Dominican friar is to talk with one of the friars. More often than not, the first Dominican a person contacts about his interest is the Director of Vocations since it is he who is more available than most to talk and he also has more experience talking to those who express an interest in joining the Order.
